📄 Who’s Next Trials – Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
By registering a child for the Who’s Next Trials programme, you (the parent/legal guardian) agree to the following terms and conditions on behalf of your child.
2. Participation
- Participation is open to school-nominated players in Years 7 to 11 only.
- Players must attend on their designated day and arrive on time.
- All participants must follow the Code of Conduct and behave respectfully and responsibly.
3. Fees and Payment
- Participation requires payment as outlined during registration.
- Payment is collected securely via our nominated platform.
- Fees are non-refundable, except in the event of programme cancellation by Who’s Next Trials or serious medical exemption (with evidence).
- Payment does not guarantee progression to the final trial or selection by scouts.
4. Consent and Medical Information
- You agree to provide accurate emergency contact, medical, and allergy information.
- You consent to basic first aid being administered where necessary.
- In the case of a serious medical emergency, you authorise us to seek urgent medical care on your behalf.
5. Supervision and Safety
- Players are supervised at all times by DBS-checked and trained staff.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for transport to Phase 1 trial locations.
- Phase 2 finalists will receive coach transport, supervised by staff.
6. Photography and Media
- You consent to the use of your child’s image/video in Who’s Next Trials marketing and promotional materials (including social media, website, and highlight reels), unless you opt out in writing.
- Media will be handled sensitively and in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy.
7. Liability
- While every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants, Who’s Next Trials accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.
- Players participate at their own risk and must wear appropriate footwear and kit.
8. Code of Conduct
- All players, parents/guardians, and staff are expected to follow our Code of Conduct.
- Who’s Next Trials reserves the right to remove any participant who violates these standards, with no refund offered.
9. Data Protection
- All personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR.
- Information is used solely for the operation and safeguarding of the Who’s Next Trials programme.
- Data will not be shared with third parties, except in safeguarding or legal situations.
10. Cancellation & Force Majeure
- In the unlikely event of event cancellation due to weather, venue issues, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
- No refunds will be issued for missed attendance unless caused by a verified medical issue.
